Turning a Backyard into a Timeless Outdoor Retreat
The goal was to create a simple yet elegant deck that would complement the home’s architecture while offering a comfortable and functional outdoor living space. The client wanted a classic design with a modern twist—something timeless that would endure for many years. To achieve this, we focused on choosing high-quality materials that would stand the test of time, combining both style and durability.
We selected TimberTech Landmark French White Oak for the main deck surface, which provides a beautiful and durable material with a sophisticated, natural wood look while minimizing maintenance. Prefinished LP Smart Trim was used to wrap the posts, giving the deck a clean, polished finish while offering long-lasting protection. To add both safety and comfort, we installed Westbury C10 Tuscany textured white railings with a drink rail, which also brought a functional and stylish element to the design.
The completed deck turned out to be the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance. The white railings and natural tones of the decking created a serene atmosphere that blended well with the surrounding landscape. This outdoor space is ideal for both entertaining and enjoying quiet moments, offering a combination of beauty and practicality. The final result is an outdoor retreat that complements the home, providing a comfortable space to relax and entertain.
