Turning a Backyard into a Stylish and Practical Escape
The goal was to create a deck that seamlessly blended into the existing garden. The client wanted a serene space that felt like an extension of their garden, suitable for both relaxation and socializing. The design focused on balancing beauty with functionality, with an emphasis on comfort and practicality.
We selected TimberTech Vintage Cypress for the main deck surface, offering both durability and beauty. To provide a striking contrast, the deck was framed with TimberTech Vintage Dark Hickory, creating a beautiful border around the perimeter. Westbury C10 Tuscany railings in textured black were installed to add a sleek, modern edge. Custom bench seating was added to provide extra comfort and seating space, ideal for family gatherings. Riser and post lighting were carefully incorporated to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for evening use.
The completed deck felt like a true extension of the home, perfectly blending with the garden and surrounding greenery. The space proved ideal for both quiet moments and lively family gatherings. The final result was a beautiful and functional outdoor living area, made even more inviting by the carefully chosen materials and thoughtful design details.
